Description

POLISTAR cross buffs are flexible tools that were developed especially for working on the inner surfaces of holes and pipes.

Recommendations for use

For the best results, use at a recommended cutting speed of 15-20 m/s.
POLISTAR can be stacked in several layers. Should be aligned at an offset from one another, so that the abrasive has the optimal effect. PST 20/1.6 for bore diameter 7–15 mm.

The maximum permitted peripheral speed is 20 m/s.
For safety reasons, the maximum permitted rotational speed indicated must never be exceeded.

Materials that can be worked: Aluminium; Annealed cast iron; Brass; Cast steel; Copper; Grey/nodular cast iron (GG/GJL, GGG/GJS); Hardened, heat-treated steels over 1.200 N/mm² (< 38 HRC); Steel materials with a hardness > 54 HRC; Steels up to 1,200 N/mm² (< 38 HRC)
