New manufacturer of solid carbide mills

With PFERD, a trusted quality brand is expanding the range of carbide tools on the market and promising its well-known high level of quality for standard and customized solutions.

PFERD is renowned and valued as a successful global brand in the field of work on surfaces and cutting. Last year, the Marienheide-based manufacturer of mainly hand-held tools started to systematically expand its range of stationary carbide tools. “The reason for this was not only due to the increasing automation of processes, but primarily because of our comprehensive expertise in producing tools with geometrically defined cutting edges,” reflects PFERD CSO Jörg Hesse. He states that the PFERD burr range is one of the most innovative and cost-efficient solutions of its kind.

Joint development work with demanding consumers in the field of carbide milling tools has led PFERD to focus on an initial basic range which is already being successfully marketed. “We will expand this range, maintaining the focus on what is needed. In doing so, we will be very happy to respond to customers’ requirements and produce tailored solutions according to customers’ wishes.”

About the PFERD solid carbide range:

In addition to customized solutions, PFERD has launched a range of 80 universal solid carbide mills which covers the most common applications. The tools are produced in Marienheide in the Oberbergischer Kreis district, based on many years of development and manufacturing expertise. As part of a special campaign lasting to 30 September 2024, the manufacturer is offering a test allocation of tools at appealing introductory prices.
