Precise ground contact points thanks to a special-purpose tool from PFERD

Together with well-known manufacturers from aircraft construction, PFERD has developed ideal tools for the production of ground contact points.

The specially developed ground contact countersinks have defined blades which allow an extremely precise predefined stock removal thanks to their depth gauge. The produced contact points are precisely circular and have high surface qualities for optimum conductivity. These tools cannot be found in the catalogue range, because they are produced flexibly and precisely according to the customer‘s specifications with very close tolerances.

Compared to brushes, which are conventionally used to produce ground contact points, the tools have good dimensional accuracy and an extremely high tool life with consistent results from the first to the last use.
