Description

POLISTAR-TUBE are multi-layered cross buffs that are riveted together. They are used especially for working on the inner surfaces of pipes and pipe bends.

Use cross buffs with the suitable flexible shafts 4 PST-T DIN 10/M4.

Advantages

Highly flexible, enabling optimal adjustment to the contour.
Prevents corrosion on stainless steel (INOX) pipes through the use of stainless steel rivets.
Achieves a very fine surface quality of up to Ra 0.2 μm.

Recommendations for use

For the best results, use at a recommended cutting speed of 15-20 m/s.
Select the tool diameter based on the respective pipe's inner diameter: PST-T diameter 70 mm for inside pipe diameter 45-50 mm
Grit size 120 suitable for roughness value 0.6–1.0 μm Ra.
